I have cultivated customer service skills through part-time jobs (Dollarama, Dairy Queen, etc.) and co-op placements (LOP, Joule). Knowledge of customers will developed on the job through personal interactions.
I have experience with the OPL catalogue, the LOP catalogue and database, as well as Joule's databases.

My Experience
Gain circulation experience.
I attended a short shelving tutorial with the LOP.
I have provided online service to Joule library patrons as well as online and in-person service to LOP patrons.
This will come with on-the-job experience, but I have engaged with literary communities through volunteering with Twice Upon a Time.
Though I have yet to gain official experience in this area, the LOP and Joule both focus on providing accessible information, and being non-discriminatory. My Values and Ethics Statement highlights how I am prepared for this role.
